Every year when the Oscar's come out, I take the winner and create a cue that I feel represents the musical essence of the Movie. When Slumdog Millionaire won, I created a cue just for fun. Somehow this cue was heard by a producer in India who wished to use it in the credits for his upcoming film. Having written this cue just for fun, I said "sure". Now I wish I would have at least kept his contact info or at least the film title so that I could watch the movie. It goes to show, sometimes when we are writing, even for ourselves, the musical path of our works often takes a direction that no one can predict. Here is the cue.
