Don Poole is an award winning sound designer, producer, and musician. He is also a composer for Poole Brothers Music in Burbank and keyboard player for Nashville's Suite Caroline.
Don attended the University of South Florida specializing in advertising/marketing and music composition. After college, Don worked for WFLA Radio in Tampa. On their FM station, he was on-air during afternoon drive. On their AM station, he produced talk shows and was the senior producer for the Tampa Bay Bandits and Tampa Bay Buccaneers networks.
Don also worked for WTSP Channel 10 ABC Television and was Audio Director in charge of all on-air and remote production. He also worked for ABC Crews on Shuttle launches, NFL games and Major League Baseball, operating camera, prompter and chyron.
Don has also engaged in freelance projects such as Hands Across America with Pete Rose for DHS Films in New York, and albums for Anthrax and Tranier at Quadradial Studios in Miami.
He has worked on projects such as national Super bowl commercials for the United Way, CBS Grammy Awards national radio campaign, “On the Waterways” television series with Jason Robards, videos for Norwegian Cruise Lines, Discover Card commercials with Derek Jeter and Paula Poundstone, Arby’s commercials with Richard Jeni, Dreamworks projects with Norman Schwarzkopf and The Cartoon Network, as well as directing video shoots with Hulk Hogan, Tony Little and Randy Savage.
An accomplished pianist as well as a published songwriter, Don has created original music for Busch Gardens, Kash ‘n Karry, Heinz Ketchup and WTSP Television. He has also created music for the motion pictures "Disturbed", "Harold", "Skeletons In The Desert", "Caged Dreams", "More Than Skin Deep", "The Sexiest Girls Of Reality TV", "Hellbinders" and "The Ghosts of Ybor" as well as composing music for the television pilots "Curtis the Magician" and "35 and Counting".
